Baptism

Baptism is an important act of obedience for every believer and identifies you with Jesus Christ. Baptism doesn't make you a believer - it shows that you already believe. Baptism does not "save" you, only your faith in Christ does that.

If you would like take to the next step in your faith and be baptised, we offer a prerequisite course that explains the Biblical purpose and practice of water baptism.

We offer classes for believers in two different age groups: adults and children. The classes will help participants understand the meaning of baptism and make wise decisions about taking part in this important event.

Adult Baptism Classes

This required one-session class is for adults who have believed in Jesus as their only way to God and heaven. Led by a staff pastor, the class helps you understand the meaning and process of baptism and make wise decisions about your own baptism. The class is held several times throughout the year, a few weeks prior to each baptism service.

These classes will follow upon the completion of the morning service at 12:30 pm. They will meet in the Conference Room for children and the Mother's Room for all others.

• Children's Baptism Classes

All children 1st through 6th grade interested in baptism must attend the children's baptism class before being baptized. It consists of one session and will help children to understand what baptism is and how it impacts their lives today.
