Getting Married At Evangel!

Getting married is one of the biggest decisions you and your spouse will ever make and as a community of believers we not only want to rejoice with you but also help you prepare as you head down this amazing journey.

If you would like to get married at Evangel, we require that both you and your spouse participate in the "Marriage Foundations" premarital counselling program. *Note that you and your spouse may be excempt if you have previously participated in an equivalent program, course or seminar.

Our PreMarital Counselling Program

The Marriage Preparation program is designed for you and your spouse to gain greater insight into a Christ-centered marriage that prepares you both for the journey you are about to embark on with one another.

The purpose of the Marriage Preparation is to teach you and your spouse how to build a healthy marriage, how to develop healthy attitudes and provide you and your spuse with practical tools that will assist in building a healthy marriage that will last a lifetime.

All couples being married by an Evangel pastor, outside or inside the building must take this full course. Any couples being married in Evangel by outside clergy need to document having taken an equivalent course to that offered by Evangel. If they have not taken an equivilent course, they must take the Marriage Preparation offered by Evangel.
There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

The course is scheduled to run twice

October 28 through November 25, 2010 from 7-9:30 pm.
January 20 through February 24, 2011 from 7-9:30 pm..

Our pastoral care pastors are specially trained to work with you and your individual needs. You will work with the same counsellor throughout the program.
